MetaDash's data mashup engine can access almost any data source. This ranges from spreadsheet files, relational databases, data warehouses, big data storages, all the way to on-premise or cloud-based applications that use JSON and REST API.
MetaDash's data access engine has an open architecture that is readily extendable. Many data sources are based on a generic architecture such as REST but have intricate internal protocols. For example, it is common to have query limits for in-cloud applications.
Mashing up full historic data with up-to-the-minute data can require protocol and mashup tuning. This is readily available through MetaDash's API.
Listed below are the more commonly used data sources that have JDBC/ODBC connectors plus the non-ODBC sources for which MetaDash has native connectors already built.
Many supported, less common data sources are not listed. Custom data connectors can also be built by you or MetaDash.
MetaDash's data mashup capability easily enables data from multiple sources to be combined and manipulated for use in any dashboard, report, or analysis. Unlike other tools, MetaDash's data mashup is fused with visual design in a single web app to enable rapid, iterative analytics development.
